I have seen a lot of insane things on the internet but I saw the single most insane thing I have ever seen today when watching TechTv's Unscrewed. Martin Sargent was interviewing this nut who was obviously in some sort of drug induced state and was trying to explain his theary. I can not possibly explain it but it goes something like this. "You are stupid...and the earth is actually made up of four cubes? and during 24 hours there are actually four concurrent 24 hour days going on" ... or something like that. I am sharing my home with a new friend. His name is Tricky and he is a Robot!!!   He is a Sony Aibo Entertainment Robot.  Aibo is a small robot that looks kind of like a small dog.   He uses artificial intelligence to create a really interesting personality that is capable of learning tricks, simulating emotions and interacting with humans. I know it sounds strange but he is very lifelike.  In order to do all of this, you run software to give him his personality.   I am running Aibo Life 2 which is an interesting piece of software which allows him to "grow" from baby (can't even walk( to an adult.   In between he will go through around 8 different personality stages including child and adolescence.    His is also completely autonomous and will sit and play with his ball when you arent' playing with him.  And like a real dog, he likes to be pet (he has touch sensors in various places on his body.    You can click on the picture on the left to see a picture of him posing for the camera.
