Not much going on these days. I'm just working on various software projects at work and dragging through the hot days of Oklahoma summer. I can't wait until fall and better weather. While I wait, I ordered a new TV. It's the new Samsung HLR6168. It's their first 1080p DLP tv. Looks like it will be the new "hot" tv. It's scheduled to be here in thew next few weeks.
Speaking of ways to pass the summer, if you haven't checked it out already be sure to download the new iTunes 4.9. It makes subscribing to PodCasts as easy as it can possibly be. I am absolutely addicted to
This Week In Tech hosted by the former Screen Savers of TechTV. It's almost like the old days but now it's raw and uncensored. If you don't know what PodCasts are ....uh, I teach tech at work, not my website.... so go download iTunes and figure it out.
One other thing I am using to pass the time this summer is....trying to teach Alene to code in C#. It will probably be slow going bases on our experience getting her through Java a couple of years ago but in the end, I bet she will really enjoy it. She seems like she really wants to learn it and had decided is going to use it to create her new web site (rather than just pilfering my old ASP code :).
Also, after a month or so off, I am back picking up the camera so be sure to check out my new
