Sorry for the lack of updates lately.  It's been a busy time and between taking a picture every day, an overly full workload at work and the stresses of life, I just didn't seem to find time to post.    But it looks like things might finally be getting back to normal.   

Lets see....my "on again"- "off again" relationship with my iPhone is definitely "on again" thanks to Apples coming to it's senses and of course the help of the hacking community to get me running on 1.1.1.   In fact, I decided that I wanted an iPhone that was a little more "me" so I am getting a new Colorware iPhone with colors that will be unique to me so I don't have to see my twinkie every day at lunch.

Is my work buds are probably tired of hearing,  I decided to upgrade my new Tivo to a larger drive a couple of weeks ago.     I ended up putting in a Western Digital 500gb drive.    So  for a hundred bucks or so, I now have a Tivo which stores 70 hours of HD or over 600 hours of SD.   That's a LONG way from the Tivo that was sent to me for review back in 1999 which stored a tiny 8 hours of SD at anywhere near decent quality.   Plus with Tivos new TivoToGo support I can now pull my shows to my Mac and burn them to DVD or even put them on my iPhone to watch later.    And to think I sold my Tivo stock so many years ago. 

Finally....it's been a year and a day since Dad passed away.    I thought about posting a memory or two yesterday but decided against it.   Of course, I still get sad when I look at a picture of him or work on a car, but I am thankful that we have all be able to move on and continue enjoying life     These days the memories are positive and I am looking forward to my favorite holiday....Christmas.
