Well, the new TV was smashed but i decided to go ahead and hang the old one while I wait. This is the new look of the living room. I'm still waiting on a new couch that will complete the "red removal project" leaving only my favorite blues :)

Did you know that you can't take a large plasma screen TV and drop it on it's side then drive it all over town in the back of a truck. Well apparently the company delivering my new TV didn't...until i pointed it out and sent them back with a very expensive paperweight.

Now I am super excited..i get to look forward to my new TV for a few more weeks :)

I"m not an animal person but i have to admit they make for fun photo subjects. This is one of Dre's cats that seems quite annoyed that it's picture is being taken.

Ok, consider this image proof that I am a human. I know everyone things that my house is alway spotless...imagining that my my robot brain can't help but run around placing everything in it's place. But here you go. It's not always neat and tidy :)

Admittedly..i'm mid project...so it's pretty rare that it looks this messy.

Jen and I went downtown to see "The Color Purple" We both stopped and took the same picture so I figured it would be fun if we both posted out 'take' of the new BOK Center.

The play was so so but the singing was pretty incredible. No..the play wasn't in the arena....it just happens to be nearby. I still haven't gone to any events in the new BOK Center. Hopefully someone will come to town i really need to see soon.

Well, i have a pile of projects and not enough time to do them all. This one isn't what you think. It's a brainstorm on how to hang my center speaker. Didn't work out but i thought it was a good idea anyway

Got my new receiver hooked up tonight. The new HD UI is pretty awesome. I might have to rethink how i use the receiver. In the past i just ignored it and used it for audio of course but these new ones have snazzy UI's and lots of features to play with. I'm off to play once this firmware upgrade is finished :)

Just one of then ingredients to Dre's wonderful dinner. I got my fill of shrimp and pasta :)

When my trusty Macbook Air isn't on my lap it's probably in this oh so snazzy bag Dre got me for christmas. The combination makes for the most portable/styling laptop you can get.

Long day so I'm going to have a nice decaf Starbucks before settling down for the evening.

OK...i'm an OKIE....so this is much too cold. When I walked out of work my iPhone said it "feels like ".....1 degrees. Is that really a temperature?

Snazzy dishes and healthy food. I shot this while getting ready for dinner. Didn't bring my camera so I got to try out Dre's XTi. I like it. Dinner was incredible....as usual

I'm going to try this again sometime when I am not so tired. But for today it's as good as it's going to get. In case your wondering it's my trusty sidekick.....sleeping.

I love this stuff. I love when I forget to empty it and get lots of colors. It's the coolest gross thing there is.

Spent the day prepping to paint Dre's living room. Soon the blue will be gone in favor of a Mod 50's Cremecicle :)

Woke up this morning to do some work on my side project and got a call from Dre asking if i wanted some Krispy Kremes. Who can refuse an offer like that. She dropped off just enough donuts to ensure I have a solid sugar high this afternoon and crash hard tonight :)

Well, it took some convincing but Dre finally is embracing the world of Digital Photography. So far she seems to be really enjoying the transition and is carrying her new XTi everywhere. Only problem so far is that Jen has grown a little jealous and is going to need to upgrade soon too :)

I'm afraid this years MacWorld was a complete dud. I was really hoping for a new excuse to buy a giant Cinema Display but i guess Apples not quite ready to deliver that one for me.

There are still rumors of new Displays, Mac mini's and iMacs. Heck the Mac Pro's are due for a refresh too. I guess they are just waiting for a better day to release the toys.

Ok...i confess.....I am a neat freak. These are some of my bestest friends around the house

Long day today. Didn't feel like taking a new pic so you get s recycled one from yesterday.

I've been hearing for years (and a whole lot more lately) that I need to eat my veggies. Well, i am starting to FINALLY grow up and find a few that i actually like. Yummy veggies....who would have thought :)

I'm off to cook some dinner.

Is it possible to have a lazy and busy Sunday at the same time. I spend the day having breakfast with my old friend Brian, chatting with Sis and struggling with how to do a drag and drop sort on my side project.

I'm ready to just sit and relax and get mentally get ready for the week ahead.

Dre and I spent the afternoon couch shopping and making room for some new decor in my living room by moving the old love seat to it's new home. I think it looks much better in here.

The living room's Red-ectomy is definitely underway.

For the last few months i have been working on a side project. As with all software projects, it seems this one just keeps getting bigger and bigger. So today, I decided to spend the day trying to knock out out a few items on the pile of changes and features i have sitting on my desk.

I must admit that I am needing a break from it so tomorrow i am going to TRY to be lazy and do nothing...if i can :)

It's a new year and I realized I haven't been posting much.   So i think i am going to try to get back into blogging and photography at the same time for the new year.   I usually do my PAD on PBASE but I decided that this year i think i will post my photos here on my blog.   I can't promise that I will shoot a pic every day but we will see how it goes.

I really had planned to get up this morning and take a great photo but I'm afraid that my plans were derailed by WAY too much alcohol celebrating the new year. So...you get this. Me in my PJ's :)
